Reflecting on the First 7 Weeks: Reconnect with Your Vision

Seven weeks into the year - how does it feel? This is the perfect time to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the intentions you set at the start of 2025. It’s easy to lose sight of our goals as life gets busy, but going back to your mood board or vision can reignite that spark and remind you why you started.

Where Are You Now?

Take a moment to check in with yourself. How have the past seven weeks gone? Have you moved closer to your goals, or do you feel like you’ve drifted? Be honest but kind to yourself. Progress isn’t always linear, and even small steps count.

Revisit Your Mood Board

Think back to the mood board you created at the start of the year. What inspired you then? Was it the idea of a healthier, more energised version of yourself? A dream of more balance or joy in your daily routine? Let those images and words guide you back to what matters most.

If you didn’t create a mood board, now’s a great time to start. Gather photos, quotes, or anything that resonates with your vision for the year. Pin them somewhere visible or save them on your phone as a daily reminder.

Use Reflection as Motivation

Reflection isn’t about dwelling on what didn’t go to plan; it’s about learning and realigning. Maybe you set goals that now feel unrealistic, or perhaps you’ve realised that some priorities have shifted. That’s okay! Adjust your goals to better fit where you are now.

Ask yourself:

  • What’s one small win I’m proud of?

  • What’s one thing I can do differently moving forward?

  • What’s one step I can take today to feel aligned with my vision?

Keep Moving Forward

Motivation can come and go, but action creates momentum. Start small. Whether it’s going for a walk, prepping a nourishing meal, or journaling for five minutes, these little actions bring you closer to the person you want to be.

Remember, this is your journey. Celebrate how far you’ve come, even if it’s not as far as you’d hoped. Every step, no matter how small, is worth acknowledging.
